My name is Maria Fisher. My journey to health began when I was diagnosed with multiple food intolerances (gluten, dairy, eggs, beef, chili powder, sunflower seeds and garlic) at the age of 20. It was a long battle of finding foods I could eat. After a year of struggling with food, both physically and emotionally, I was blessed to find an "un-cook" book about raw foods. I was excited to find out you don't need dairy, eggs, or wheat to have amazing food. So many of the recipes have just a few simple ingredients that make truly delicious foods. I had also started learning about why people go vegan (no meat, dairy, eggs or animal products). So I watched "Food Inc" and "Food Matters" and decided it was time to be vegan. I had been vegan for 1 year before deciding to eat a high raw diet. Currently, I have been eating a high raw, low-fat vegan diet since the beginning of 2012.
I have created this website for you so that you can explore and learn about the many aspects of healthy living. There are so many topics of health and diet plans, that I wanted to help make your searching easier by having it all in one place. I have topics ranging from the vegan lifestyle to fasting and raw foods. I've also included my favorite recipes for vegan, gluten-free, and raw foods.
