*For your first time, it is good to do a juice fast.
*The juice of fruits and vegetables are filled with healing and cleansing properties that allow the body to gently and safely detoxify.
*You may drink whenever you feel hunger developing. It is also good to note that drinking small amounts of juice will increase the detoxification. The greater the discomfort, the more intense the cleansing.
*Make sure that your juice is made from fresh (preferably organic) fruits and vegetables. It is best to either “juice” them with a juicer or to processes them with a blender or food processor and then strain the juice from them. Removing the pulp is very important because it will help to keep your digestive system at rest.
*If you are juicing: drink juices slowly mixing juice with saliva. Do not gulp them down.

Do not Drink: Tap water, sodas, coffee, punch, artificial drink mix stuff, milk, alcohol
*You could also do a combination of juice and water through out the fast such as: 3 days on juice, 2 days on water, 5 days on juice, then 3 days on water.
Concerns: It is also not advisable to juice fast if you have hypoglycemia, diabetes, hypo thyroid, or Wilson’s Syndrome. However, if you modify the fast with eating bananas, avocados, which are slow to digest and maintain a stable blood sugar, and also grinding 1 TBS of flaxseed to your juice will provide added fiber, this will help you to Juice fast more safely.
