*Water fasting is difficult, especially if you have a fast metabolism. It cleanses the body aggressively and removes the toxins rapidly. It is sometimes more beneficial than juice fasting in combating more persistent forms of cancer, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, and other autoimmune diseases.
*Water fasting demands mental preparation, the less pressure and responsibility you have during this type of fast the better.
*Some think it is a good idea to include 2-3 days of juice fasting before and after a water fast.
*Try to drink 2 liters or more of water per day. Drink as much as you desire.
* Distilled water is the best. It cleanses the best because of its inherent, magnetic properties and ability to absorb and suspend large quantities of toxins, flushing them from the body. (The second best to distilled water is Spring or Filtered water.)
Concerns: It is not advisable to water fast if you have hyperglycemia, hypoglycemia, schizophrenia or a chronic heart condition. If you have an existing condition it is best to consult with a fasting expert or be monitored by a doctor throughout your fast.
